Our goal is to grow Christian young men and women with integrity and godly character who will stand as beacons of light in the remotest parts of the world. We rescue and care for orphaned children in Kenya (East Africa). These children were once abandoned. Many lost their parents due to AIDS and were left to fend for themselves on the streets. Our emphasis is on the development of spiritual depth in the heart of the child, as well as meeting their physical, educational, and emotional needs. We want to invest in these children as father and mother invest in their own children. We believe that the most important need for these children is Jesus Christ; we desire to truly make disciples, one child at a time.   Gethsemane International, Inc. is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization.   All images of children and of Kenya are original and were taken by Gethsemane staff and volunteers.

Our approach is holistic - not just feeding lunches and sending children back into the streets to live. • Creating service opportunities: the children in our homes learn to serve & give to each other as well as others in need.
